ABOUT

Mr. Todd has been around the construction industry literally his entire life.  As a teenager  working weekends and summers at Mountcastle Lumber Company in Newport News Mr. Todd extended his knowledge of building materials and particularly the logistics of shipping those materials to different projects.  During the early 1980's Mr. Todd spent two years helping his parents construct their home in York County where they still reside.  It was during those two years that the young apprentice really learned all the different trades that it takes to construct a custom home.  In 1992 Mr. Todd and his wife Wendy completed their own home in Carrollton, VA.  Eventually they built a commercial office space and another home within a mile of their original home.  Mr. Todd's wife handles the administration end (CPA by trade) and his son Collin and daughter Mallory help when out of school and during the summer time. The Todd family has been very active in the community with church, youth sports, and civic organizations.  Mr. Todd says " Giving back is the definition of a community".  Of all his travels and experiences Mr. Todd says that the two mission trips to Mississippi after hurricane Katrina were probably the highlight of being able to use his skills to help others rebuild their homes and lives.
